CHERRY NUT BREAD 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
4 eggs, beaten
1 sm. jar maraschino cherries with juice, chopped
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix sugar, oil, and eggs together. Add cherries and juice. In separate bowl sift together flour, soda, salt, and spices. Gradually stir ingredients into cherry mixture. Mix in chopped nuts. Pour batter into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Remove from pans and cool.
