HALF TIME SPOON ROLLS | |
1 pkg. yeast in 1/4 c. warm water 1/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1/3 c. shortening 1/2 c. cold water 3/4 c. hot milk 1 unbeaten egg and yeast 2 1/3 c. flour Mix well. Cover Let rise double in size. Stir down dough. Fill well greased muffin tins half full. Let rise until batter has risen to edge of muffin cup and is rounded in center, about 45 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 1 1/2 dozen. |
