SCALLOPED POTATOES 
8 med. size potatoes
3-4 tbsp. butter
Pepper
Approximately 2 c. milk
2 1/2 c. diced, cooked ham
3 tbsp. flour
Oregano and garlic salt

Melt butter in pan on low heat. Stir in flour gradually with whisk or fork. Add milk and bring to a slow boil, then cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, slice potatoes after paring and washing. Using a large casserole, alternate potatoes, sauce, ham, dash of oregano, garlic salt and pepper to taste. Finish with sauce on top. Bake in oven covered at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes or until fork tender. If it looks dry, add milk before putting in oven.
