RICE WITH WALNUTS AND LENTILS 
1/2 c. lentils
1 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. olive or vegetable oil
1/3 c. unhulled sesame seeds
1/2 c. grated carrot
1 tbsp. parsley
1/4 c. wheat germ
3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 c. uncooked rice

Cook lentils with a little oregano, salt and pepper. When soft, drain. Cook rice and then mix all the ingredients together in a 2 quart casserole dish. If the mixture seems dry add a little more oil. Cook for 20 to 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
