CRAZY CAKE 
1 1/2 c. enriched flour
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. salad oil or melted butter
2 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cold water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa, salt and baking soda into ungreased 8 inch square pan. Make 3 holes in flour-cocoa mixture with back of spoon. Pour the oil into the first hole, the vinegar into the second, and the vanilla into the third hole. Pour the water over all and stir well with a fork. Bake in preheated, 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until cake tester or toothpick comes out clean when inserted into middle of cake. Cool on wire rack. Frost with smooth cocoa frosting or serve without frosting.
