TURKEY CROQUETTES | |
2 tbsp. butter 3 tbsp. flour 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. chicken broth 2 c. diced turkey 1 tbsp. parsley Salt and pepper 6-8 bread slices 1 egg Make white sauce with butter, flour, milk and broth. Cool. Then add turkey and parsley. Cover and chill several hours. Trim crusts from bread. Cut into 1/2-inch pieces. Shape meat mixture into 8 (2 1/2-inch) balls (about 1/4 cup). Dip balls into beaten egg. Roll in bread, coating well. Place on greased cookie pan. Brush with melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 5minutes or until toasted. Makes 4 servings. |
