PUMPKIN MUFFINS 
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
1 c. butter, melted
1 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 heaping c. pureed pumpkin
1 c. raisins (optional)
1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line muffin pan with paper liners. Mix melted butter, water, eggs and pumpkin thoroughly. Add dry ingredients, mixing until blended. Pour into muffin cups and bake about 35 minutes, until golden brown. Muffins may crack as they bake. Cool on racks.
