MOM'S BARBECUED MEAT BALLS | |
2 lbs. ground meat 1 egg 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1/4 c. oatmeal Salt to taste Pepper to taste Oregano to taste Mix above ingredients and shape into bite-sized meatballs. Microwave or broil until cooked. BARBECUE SAUCE: 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 c. water 1 c. ketchup or lean tomato paste 2 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. vinegar 2 tbsp. soy sauce 2 tbsp. onion, minced 2 tbsp. butter For sauce, brown onion in butter. Add remaining ingredients and cook slowly for 20 minutes. Add balls to sauce and simmer slowly. Serve hot. |
