CHOCOLATE TURTLES 
1 lb. pecan halves
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Butter

Place pecan halves in 6 groups of 3 in a circle in a buttered pie plate. Top each group with caramel. Microwave for 2 to 3 minutes or until caramel is soft, not melted. Microwave your chocolate chips in a measuring cup for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour or spoon 1/2 teaspoon of chocolate over each caramel coated group. Chill for 20 to 30 minutes. Makes approximately 4 dozen pieces.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
