GERMAN CHOCOLATE TURTLE BARS 
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. melted butter
1 sm. can evaporated milk
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Mix together cake mix, butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and nuts. Press 1/2 of cake mixture into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 6 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips over crust. Pour on caramel mixture. Dab remaining dough over caramel layer. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
