MARINARA SAUCE | |
2 tbsp. olive oil 1 onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1/3 c. fresh chopped parsley 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced 28 oz. can crushed Italian tomatoes 6 oz. tomato paste 1 tomato paste can of water 1/2 tbsp. A-1 sauce 1/2 tbsp. barbeque sauce 1/2 tbsp. ketchup 1 tsp. oregano Saute onion, garlic and parsley in oil in a skillet. Add mushrooms and saute a little more. Mix in tomatoes, tomato paste, water, A-1 sauce, barbeque sauce, ketchup and oregano. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 1/2 hour, until sauce thickens. |
