HEARTY CHICKEN RICE SOUP | |
13 oz. chicken broth 1/2 c. uncooked rice 1/2 c. sliced carrots 3/4 lb. Velveeta, cubed 2 c. cold water 1/2 c. celery slices 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained 1 1/2 c. chopped, cooked chicken or turkey Combine broth, water, rice, celery, carrots. Cover and simmer 20-25 minutes or until rice and vegetables are tender. Add remaining ingredients. Stir until cheese is melted. Makes 5 cups. |
