MAGIC PIE CRUST 
4 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. solid vegetable shortening
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. vinegar

Combine flour, sugar, and salt. Cut shortening in like coarse corn meal. Combine egg and water. Sprinkle over flour mixture. Add vinegar and lightly stir until mixture forms ball. Wrap in wax paper and chill until use. 5 pie crusts or 5 recipes makes 100 tarts.
