LO CAL CHILI 
2 (46 oz.) cans tomato juice (V-8 is best)
1/4-1/2 c. dehydrated onion
1 1/2 lb. extra lean hamburger
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 lg. can mushrooms, drain
1 can peas
Chili powder to taste

Pour tomato juice into Dutch oven. Add onion and crumbled hamburger. Add garlic salt and chili powder. Simmer for 2 hours. (After this you may cool it and skim fat off top.) Add mushrooms and peas. Simmer 1/2 hour more. 4-6 servings.
