1 can beets 1 cup beet juice and water 1/2 cup sugar 1/3 cup corn starch 1/4 cup vinegar 1 teaspoon salt optional) butter Fry 4 c. raw cubed potatoes in 3 Tbsp butter or oil. Cook 1/2 medium onion, chopped with potatoes. Add 1/2 ring cubed, smoked sausage. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook until done. Melt 1/2 c. cheddar cheese over top. Can be served with fries, eggs or anything desired. |
