MOLLY'S NUT CAKE 
8 egg yolks
1 1/4 c. sifted sugar
2 c. ground nuts (hazel, brazil or almonds)
1/2 tsp. instant coffee powdered
1 tbsp. bread crumbs
2 tbsp. brandy

Beat the egg yolks very well. Add the sugar until light in color. Add ground nuts, powdered coffee, bread crumbs and brandy. Mix well.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat the egg whites until stiff but not too dry. Fold into nut mixture carefully but thoroughly. Grease a 9 inch springform and dust lightly with bread crumbs. Bake for 40 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.

Cool and then carefully remove the sides of the springform. If desired cake may be split in half and filled and covered with whipped cream.
