"MISS" BESSIE HOWES' BAKED HAM 
12-15 lb. ham
15-20 whole cloves
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
4 tsp. vinegar
Water

Place ham skin side up in roaster pan. Score top and place whole cloves in a design all over. Fill roaster pan 1/2 full of water. Bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours. Pour off 1/4 of water and remove skin. Baste with paste made from brown sugar, mustard and vinegar. After ham is brown, reduce heat to 250 degrees, continue baking total of 4 hours, basting occasionally.
