BEST-EVER LENTIL SOUP 
1 c. dry lentils
5 c. water
1 tbsp. salt
1/8 tsp. thyme
1/8 tsp. oregano
1 chopped onion
1 grated carrot
1/4 c. dry parsley
1/4 c. canola oil
2 to 3 grated potatoes
1 - 15 oz. can chopped tomatoes

Mix all and simmer for at least 2 hours. Check on how thick you want it.
