BAKED FRENCH TOAST 
1 sm. (8-9 oz.) day old loaf French bread
3 eggs
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. all purpose flour
6 tbsp. dark brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 c. butter
1 c. sliced strawberries (opt.)
1 c. fresh or frozen blueberries

Grease 13"x9" baking dish. Diagonally cut bread into 1" slices and place in baking dish; set aside. In medium bowl lightly beat eggs, sugar and vanilla. Stir in milk until well blended. Pour mixture over bread in baking dish, turning slices to coat well. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Heat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl combine flour, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Turn bread slices over in baking dish. Scatter blueberries over bread and sprinkle evenly with crumb mixture. Bake approximately 40 minutes or until golden brown. Cut into squares and top with strawberries. 8 servings.
