MOTHER'S BROWNIES 
1/3 c. butter (don't substitute butter)
2 sq. chocolate
1 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
3/4 c. Swansdown cake flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar together. Melt chocolate and cool. Beat eggs and add to sugar and butter mixture. Sift together dry ingredients (flour, salt, baking powder). Add cooled melted chocolate to batter. Add and combine flour mixture a little at a time, and vanilla and nuts. Pour batter into greased and floured 8 or 9 inch square pan or comparable size baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. This is a very moist brownie. Don't overbake.
