“CHRISTMAS TREE SUGAR COOKIES” IS IN:

CHRISTMAS TREE SUGAR COOKIES 
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
2 cups sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Christmas tree cookie cutter
green colored sugar sprinkles

In a large bowl cream together butter and sugar with fork. Add the egg and vanilla and stir with fork until smooth. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt and mix with hands until dough forms. Wrap dough in Saran or plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator for at least an hour or overnight.

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Flour counter-top and roll out dough until flat. Cut out dough into Christmas trees with Christmas tree cookie cutter. Put tin foil on a cookie sheet and grease tin foil. Put Christmas tree dough cut outs on cookie sheet with greased tin foil and sprinkle and push lightly with green colored sugar.

Bake at 350°F for about 10-12 minutes or until cookies are light brown. Transfer cookies to serving plate.
