FORREST'S OREO PUDDING | |
2 cups milk 1 cup sugar 2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1 egg 2 cups crushed Oreo cookies In a large bowl whip milk, sugar, cornstarch and vanilla extract with a wire whisk. Turn the burner on, pour mixture into a saucepan and let cook until thickens. In a bowl temper egg with some of the hot mixture then add to mixture and whisk - do not let egg cook. Add crushed Oreo cookies and stir. Let mixture thicken again - do not let it stick or let the egg cook. Pour hot mixture into a blender and blend until creamy and have color. Pour into a clean bowl, cover with Saran or plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator for half an hour. Enjoy!!! Submitted by: Forrest Nelson |
