PIZZA PIE 
1 c. warm water
1 pkg. yeast
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. melted shortening
3 c. sifted flour

In large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar, salt and shortening. Stir in flour and knead until dough is smooth. Add a little more if a little sticky. Put in greased bowl in a warm place free from drafts. In 1 to 1 1/2 hours dough will double in size.

TOMATO SAUCE:

1 onion, grated
3 cloves garlic

Brown in 1/4 cup vegetable oil. Add 2 cans tomato sauce, 1/2 cup water, 2 teaspoons oregano to onion mixture on low heat for 25 minutes.

TOPPING:

One pound country sausage, broken in small pieces, browned and drained. To complete, grate 1 pound mozzarella cheese and place on top. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 25 minutes.
