2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
1 tbsp. alum
1 3/4 c. boiling water
2 tbsp. vegetable oil

Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Mix alum, water, oil and food coloring in a separate bowl. Add to flour and salt mixture. Knead well. Add extra flour if sticky. Keep in airtight container. Does not need to be refrigerated. Lasts a long time.
