GRANDMA MANGE'S GROUND CHERRY
PIE
 
2 crust 9" pie
Melted butter
Ground cherries
3/4 c. sugar
Juice of 1 lemon or 1/4 c. lemon juice
2 1/2 tsp. tapioca

Brush lower crust with melted butter. Fill with ground cherries. Cover with 3/4 cup sugar, juice of 1 lemon or 1/4 cup lemon juice. Sprinkle 2 1/2 teaspoons tapioca over. Cover with top crust. Bake 10 minutes at 450 degrees and then at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 6.
