1/2 c. soft butter
1 1/2 to 2 c. sugar
3 heaping tbsp. all-purpose flour (heaping high)
3 beaten eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of nutmeg (optional)

Cream butter and sugar. Add flour and eggs. Beat well. Stir in buttermilk, vanilla and nutmeg. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees.
