MEAT LOAF ON TOP OF STOVE 
1 lb. ground beef
Season to taste
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. tomato catsup
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Sm. grated onion

Mix ingredients. Shape in loaf. Put in a heavy bottomed pot. Cover; cook on medium-heat about 45 minutes, basting often with juice from meat. When brown, thicken gravy with 1 tablespoon flour. Serves 6.
