DATE NUT BALLS 
1 stick butter
1 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. chopped dates
1 egg
3 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. chopped nuts
Powdered sugar or coconut

Cook butter, sugar, dates and beaten egg for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in Rice Krispies and nuts. Cool slightly. Make into balls the size of walnuts. Roll in powdered sugar or coconut or both.
