OLD FASHIONED BREAD PUDDING 
2 c. milk
4 c. bread crumbs
1/4 c. melted butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. seeded raisins
1 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg

Heat to scalding the milk. Pour over bread crumbs. Let cool and add other ingredients.

Pour into buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake until knife inserted in pudding comes out clean. Serve warm, with or without sauce or cream. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Serves 6.
