PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
3 (8 inch) cake layers (I use the Hot Milk Cake recipe)
1 qt. sliced strawberries or peaches
1 c. sour cream
3 pkgs. strawberry Jello
3 pkgs. instant vanilla pudding
16 oz. tub Cool Whip

Mix Jello and 3 cups boiling water. Add 2 cups cold water. Refrigerate until slightly jelled; add fruit. Mix pudding and 4 cups milk. Add sour cream and 1 cup Cool Whip.

To assemble: Place 1 cake layer in bottom of punch bowl; add Jello layer; add pudding layer. Repeat layers twice more. Spread Cool Whip over the top. Refrigerate.
