SUMMER SAUSAGE | |
2 lbs. lean hamburger 3 tbsp. Mortons tender quick salt 1/2 tsp. mustard seed 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. whole black pepper corns 1/4 tsp. sage 1/2 tsp. ground marjoram 1 tsp. sugar 1 c. cold water Mix all ingredients in large bowl. Mix well. Make 2 balls, form balls into rolls 2 inches in diameter. Wrap tight in heavy foil and twist ends very tight. Put in refrigerator for 3 days. Put in pan of cold water, bring to boil and boil for 1 hour take out and cool. Leave foil on until cool. |
