1 c. butter (2 sticks) 1 c. white sugar 1 c. brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 2/3 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 2/3 c. quick oats 1 c. chopped nuts Cream butter and sugars until fluffy, add eggs and flavor. Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture, blending well. Mix in oats and nuts. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Do not dip too large teaspoon cause spreads considerably, preferably 3 by 4 spoons on regular baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 375 degrees. |
