1/2 c. chunk peanut butter
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. milk
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 pkg. chocolate kisses

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Roll into balls (1 inch). Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove from oven and place a chocolate kiss in center of each ball. Return to oven and bake 2 minutes longer. Cool before serving.

Use ungreased cookie sheet. 2 dozen.
