1 lb. ground beef
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. biscuit mix
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 eggs
Deep dish pie shell

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Brown onion and ground beef. Bake pie shell. Spread beef in pie plate. Sprinkle with cheese. Mix remaining ingredients until smooth. Pour into pie shell. Bake until golden brown and knife comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Garnish with tomato wedges.
