PECAN TARTLETS 
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1/3 c. dark corn syrup
1/3 c. coarsely chopped pecans

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat in egg. Beat in syrup, stir in pecans. Bake in preheated oven 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove from pans to wire rack.

Makes 24.
