PORK CHOPS CACCIATORE 
6 pork chops, about 3/4 inch thick
1/2 tsp. salt
6 thin onion slices
1 env. spaghetti sauce mix
1 (1 lb. can (2 c.) tomatoes
1 tbsp. brown sugar
6 green pepper rings

Trim fat from chops. Brown chops in 1 tablespoon melted fat, season with salt and dash pepper; place in 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch baking dish. Top each chop with onion slice. Combine next 3 ingredients; pour over chops. Cover with foil; bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover top chops with pepper; bake 15 minutes. Serve with hot cooked rice. Serves 6.
