CANDY - TOP CAKE 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1/2 c. broken California walnut pieces

1. Set oven at temperature given on package. Get pan ready. Mix cake according to package directions.

2. When cake is done, remove from oven to cake rack. Sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate pieces over the top of cake at once.

3. When the chocolate is melted, spread it over cake with narrow spatula. Sprinkle with nuts. Cool and cut in squares.
