SUNSHINE PICKLES 
8 qt. cucumbers (lg., yellow)
7 c. white sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. turmeric
5 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. celery seed
2 tbsp. salt

Peel and quarter cucumbers and remove seeds. Cut into 1-1 1/2-inch pieces. Put celery seed in bag. Cook all together until tender, but not mushy. Seal while hot.
