CHEESY BEEF PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. diced green peppers
2 tbsp. minced onion
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c. sour cream
1 egg, beaten
1 can (5 oz.) buttermilk biscuits

Saute beef, pepper, and onion until done; drain. Add tomato sauce and seasonings. Combine 1/2 cup cheese, sour cream and egg mixture, mixing well, then stir into meat mixture. Pour into casserole dish. Split biscuits and place on top of meat mixture. Sprinkle over top the remaining cup of cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
