EASY BEEF AND NOODLES 
3 slices bacon
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 lb. ground beef
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 c. chili sauce
3 c. uncooked egg noodles
1/2 to 3/4 c. water
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
Shredded cheddar cheese

Cook bacon in skillet until crisp. Remove bacon and crumble. Saute onions in bacon drippings until tender; add beef and cook until brown, stirring to crumble. Drain off drippings. Stir in tomato sauce, green peppers, chili sauce, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Add uncooked noodles and water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered until noodles are tender. Stir in bacon and sprinkle with cheese.
