COCONUT POUND CAKE | |
3 c. sugar 3 sticks butter (must be at room temperature) 6 eggs (must be at room temperature) 1 c. evaporated milk 3 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 can coconut Make sure eggs and butter are at room temperature. Cream sugar and butter together. Add eggs and milk to sugar mixture. Blend well. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and add to mixture. Blend well. Add vanilla and coconut. Blend well. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour and 20 minutes. |
