1 yellow cake mix 2 c. yellow cornmeal 2 c. flour 6 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. baking powder 2 tsp. salt 2/3 c. butter 2 eggs 2 c. milk Mix cake by directions. Add rest of the ingredients and pour into two 9x12 inch cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until center bounces back. | |

Be prepared for enough cornbread to feed the whole neighborhood! :O Seriously - this batter took up an entire large bowl and filled one 9x12 pan, one 9x9 pan, AND a small glass loaf pan I had stored away.
