SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
FOR 8-INCH PIE:

2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter, melted
3/4 c. dark corn syrup
3/4 c. pecan halves

FOR 9-INCH PIE:

3 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter, melted
1 c. dark corn syrup
1 c. pecan halves

Combine first 5 ingredients; mix well. Add pecans; stir well. Pour into pastry-lined pie pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Filling should be set and crust nicely brown.
