2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs, separated
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
2 tbsp. vinegar

Cream butter and sugar, add beaten egg yolks. Add vinegar, nuts and raisins. Also spices. Fold all ingredients together. Pour in uncooked pie shell and bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour. It makes 1 large pie or 2 small.
