GREEN SALAD DRESSING 
1 c. vinegar
3/4 c. salad oil
3 tsp. salt
3 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. black pepper
1 heaping tbsp. sweet basil
2 cloves garlic (split)
1 tsp. oregano

Soak spices in vinegar at least 24 hours before adding oil. Shake well and pour over salad. Makes approximately 1 pint.
