OVEN FRIED CHICKEN 
1/3 c. each vegetable oil and butter
1 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. each: black pepper and paprika
1 tsp. each: garlic, salt, dried marjoram and salt
8-9 chicken pieces

Put oil and butter in shallow pan - heat to 375 degrees to melt; set aside.

Combine flour and seasonings in large paper sack. Roll chicken in melted butter and oil - drop in sack - shake to coat. Put chicken back in pan - skin side down - bake 45 minutes. Turn over, bake 5-10 minutes longer. Pan drippings make great gravy.
