1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
2 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix thoroughly butter, sugar and vanilla. Sift flour and salt. Stir in. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet (cookies do not spread). Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes. Makes 5 dozen, size of a quarter. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
