2 1/2 sq. chocolate, melted 1/2 c. strong coffee 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Mix and allow to cool. Sift, then measure: Sift with: 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/4 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. double-acting baking powder Add: Chocolate mixture Beat 2 minutes or 300 strokes. Add: 2 eggs 1/2 c. sour milk 1 tsp. vanilla Beat 2 minutes or 300 strokes. Pour into two pans and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. | |
