DEVIL DOGS 
2 c. flour (plain)
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. milk
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. Crisco

Drop by heaping spoonfuls 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 425°F for 5 to 7 minutes.

Cream Filling:

1/3 c. canned cream
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. Crisco
1/4 tsp. salt

Beat together 5 minutes or more. Spread between 2 cookies.
