HOT FRUIT - INDIA DISH 
1 (1 lb.) can pear halves
1 (13 oz.) can pineapple chunks
1 (1 lb.) can peach halves
1 (1 lb. 1 oz.) can apricot halves
1 (1 lb. 1 oz.) can dark pitted sweet cherries
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. curry powder

Drain all fruit. Cut halves once. Melt butter and blend in brown sugar and curry powder while heating. Put fruit in 2 quart casserole. Spoon heated mixture over fruit with exception of cherries. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Add cherries and fold in carefully. Return to oven for 15 minutes or until bubbling. Serve warm. Serves 8 to 10.
